Alek Isaac Manoah is an American professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Toronto Blue Jays in Major League Baseball.

He was born on January 9, 1998. (MLB). After graduating from West Virginia University and being picked by the Blue Jays with the 11th overall choice in the 2019 Major League Baseball draft, he made his first appearance in Major League Baseball on May 27, 2021.

At South Dade High School in Homestead, Florida, Manoah participated in high school baseball. He enrolled at West Virginia University after graduating from high school but was not selected in the 2016 Major League Baseball draft.

As a junior, Manoah was unanimously selected as the Big 12 Pitcher of the Year. He received a preseason All-American designation from Baseball America ahead of the 2019 campaign.

In the 2019 Major League Baseball draft, the Toronto Blue Jays selected Manoah with the 11th overall choice overall. On July 27, 2020,

he made his first appearance in a professional game with the Vancouver Canadians in the Class A-Short Season Northwest League.

The COVID-19 epidemic resulted in the termination of the minor league season in 2020, which meant that Manoah did not participate in any minor league games that year.
