Nick Folk, whose full name is Nicholas Alexander Folk, is a placekicker for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He has a height of 1.85 meters and a weight of 101 kilograms.
While he was a student at Notre Dame High School, he was a member of the school’s football team and played the position of quarterback.
As a senior, he earned “All-CIF” honors in both punting and kicking, making the second team in both categories.
Folk was awarded a football scholarship to attend the University of Arizona, where he played college football for the Arizona Wildcats football team. As a senior, he was honored with All-Pac-10 status.
After four years of college, he graduated with a record of 30 field goals made out of 47 attempts, 79 extra points made out of 81 attempts, and 4,242 yards punted. At the University of Arizona, he earned a degree in marketing.
Dallas Cowboys general manager Jerry Jones selected him with their pick in the sixth round of the NFL Draft in 2007.
In February of that year, he signed a one-year agreement to play with the New York Jets after making a commitment to the team. In March of 2011, the Jets re-signed him to their roster.
During the 2012 season, he attempted a total of 27 field goals and made 21 of them. In March of 2017, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers made him a member of their team after signing him as a free agent.

Reunited with the Patriots According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Folk put pen to paper on Monday to extend his tenure with the Patriots by signing a contract worth $5 million over the course of two years.
Impact Folk had a reliable 2021 year, kicking 36 of his 39 field-goal tries and 42 of his 47 extra-point attempts. Overall, he was successful in all 47 of his efforts.
