Patrick missed 17 games while playing for Utah because of injury. With 45 receptions, 711 receiving yards, and five touchdown grabs in 2016, Patrick was the team’s top receiver.

Patrick was added to the Denver Broncos practice squad on October 21, 2017. [8] On November 8, 2017, he was released. On November 15, 2017, his contract was renewed. On January 1st, 2018, he agreed to a reserve/future deal with the Broncos.

Patrick recorded his first reception of his professional career, a 26-yard catch, in the Broncos’ Week 2 victory over the Oakland Raiders.

He caught the ball while the Broncos were driving late in the game, which helped set up the game-winning field goal.

He recorded his first professional receiving touchdown on a 24-yard reception in a Week 8 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He recorded 23 receptions for 315 yards and a score in the 2018 campaign.

On August 2, 2022, Patrick suffered a torn ACL during practice, which prematurely ended his season. He was placed on injured reserve on August 3, 2022.
