An’treyon “Trey” Sermon participates in professional American football as a running back for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. He attended Sprayberry High School, which is located in Marietta, Georgia. Following high school, he started playing for the Oklahoma Sooners football team at the University of Oklahoma, where he began his college football career.



As a true freshman, he took part in all 14 of the games, starting three. He had a productive season, carrying the ball 121 times for 744 yards and 5 touchdowns. On 164 carries for 947 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2018, he was a member of the Kennedy Brooks team. He played in nine games as a junior in 2019, accumulating 54 carries for 385 yards and four touchdowns.

While attending Ohio State University as a graduate student in 2020, he participated in the Big Ten Championship Game versus Northwestern University and racked up 331 rushing yards. His rushing yards broke the marks for both an Ohio State player in a single game and a Football Bowl Subdivision championship game.

In the 2021 Sugar Bowl, he ran for 193 yards and a running touchdown, winning 49-28. Additionally, he scored 61 yards on 4 receptions. Sermon was chosen by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He was let go by the 49ers on August 31, 2022. On September 1, 2022, the Philadelphia Eagles claimed him off of waivers.
