Aaron Monteiro is an offensive tackle in the National Football League who plays for the Washington Commanders. He is 2.01 m tall and 145 kg in weight. He attended Brockton High School, where he played high school football, and there he was named to the Boston Globe and Brockton Enterprise All-Scholastic teams. He also received Big Three Conference and ESPN Boston All-State honors.
He attended Boston College and played college football for the Boston Eagles after graduating from high school. In six games as a rookie in 2015, he started five at left tackle. He participated in 12 games as a sophomore, starting 12 of them at left tackle, and he started all 13 games as a junior in 2017.
When the team faced UMass in his senior year in 2018, he participated in 70 snaps. At left tackle, he began. After being passed over in the 2019 NFL Draft, Monteiro signed with the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent. Later in the season, the New England Patriots signed him, but six days later they dismissed him.
He spent the most of his NFL career on the Carolina Panthers’ practice squad after signing with them in 2020. He still hadn’t participated in a regular-season game. His services were hired by the Washington Commanders in May 2022.
