Anthony Barr plays outside linebacker in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys. He is 117 kg in weight and 1.96 meters tall. He played football and track while a student at Loyola High School. He was selected as an All-State running back for the Loyola Cubs football team after rushing for 1,890 yards and 20 touchdowns as a junior.
He received scholarship offers from numerous universities, and in January 2010 he chose Notre Dame and UCLA after narrowing down his choices. For the UCLA Bruins, he played collegiate football. He led the squad with 10 sacks for a total of 66 yards, earning him the Lott IMPACT Award.

He was included to the Vikings’ COVID-19 list of reserve players on July 30, 2020, and was then activated four days later. In Week 2, he tore his pectoral muscle, and in September 2020, he was placed on injured reserve. On August 3, 2022, Barr made a commitment to the Dallas Cowboys.
