Anthony Rush, who had a perfect start record with the Falcons in 2022, will be placed on the waiver wire. On Thursday, the Falcons made the announcement that they had released their starting nose tackle.

Eddie Goldman, who was expected to compete or even unseat Rush at the position, retired shortly after signing with the Atlanta Falcons. However, Week 5 will see a different starting nose for Dean Pees’ defense.

This season, Rush, who is 26 years old, had participated in 33 percent of Atlanta’s defensive snaps. Rush, who tipped the scales at more than 360 pounds, was a member of the rebuilding squad and played the role of a run-stopper.
