He was ranked as the Rockies’ 11th top prospect prior to the 2015 season by MLB.com. After the 2015 season, the Rockies added Senzatela to their 40-man roster.

Senzatela was added to the Rockies’ roster for Opening Day in 2017, and on April 6 he made his main league debut. Senzatela was named the National League’s Rookie of the Month for April after making five starts with a 3-1 win-loss record and 2.81 ERA.
