Badara Traore have had his share of the NFL when he was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Chicago Bears .

Traore was born in Hyde Park, Massachusetts, to African immigrants Bakary Traore and Rouguiatou Kaba.

He went to Matignon High School, where he played football and basketball and drove two hours each way to get there and back.

After a successful high school career, he attended ASA College in Brooklyn, New York, for a total of two years and played college football. Traore was a sought-after athlete. In 2018, he continued his collegiate football career by transferring to Louisiana State University.

Prior to this decision, he had offers from a total of 26 institutions, some of which were Oklahoma, Auburn, and Texas. During his first year at LSU, he participated in all 13 games starting two of them. Head coach Ed Orgeron referred to him as “one of the most improved guys on the team.”
