After graduating from high school, he was given a scholarship to play for the University of Michigan’s Michigan Wolverines.



As a freshman in 2017, he participated in 12 games for the Wolverines before sitting out as a sophomore due to a hamstring injury. In 2019, he switched to the University of Minnesota as a graduate student after earning his bachelor’s degree in sports management from Michigan in just two years.
