Brian Nicholas Serven is an American professional baseball catcher who currently plays for the Colorado Rockies in Major League Baseball.
Serven was born on May 5, 1995, in the United States (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2022. The city of Palm Desert in California is Serven’s birthplace.
He attended Palm Desert High School, where in 2012, as a junior, he was the driving force behind the Aztecs’ run to the title of the California Interscholastic Federation.
He received his education at Arizona State University and represented the Arizona State Sun Devils on the collegiate baseball team.
In 2014, he was a member of the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod Baseball League, where he competed in collegiate summer baseball.
The Colorado Rockies selected him in the fifth round of the Major League Baseball draft in 2016. [3] On May 18, 2022, he debuted with the Rockies for the first time.
In only his second game with the Rockies, which took place on May 21, 2022, against the New York Mets, Serven hit two home runs,
making him the first player in the history of the major leagues to record his first two career hits with two multiple-run home runs in the same game.
The Rockies won the game, and Serven became the first player in major league history to accomplish this feat.
