Carter Coughlin, a linebacker for the Minnesota Golden Gophers, had one of the most successful college careers prior to being selected by the New York Giants in the seventh round of the NFL Draft in 2020.
Coughlin was a respected edge rusher who received praise and accolades throughout his career. In addition to being a three-time recipient of the Academic All-Big Ten honor, he was a two-time member of the All-Big Ten Second Team and a winner of the Carl Eller Award.
