In the sixth round of the 2018 National Football League Draft, the Minnesota Vikings picked Gossett (213th overall). He signed a dotted line for his rookie deal on May 3, 2018.
He was taken off the active roster on September 1, 2018, and the practice squad was added the next day. On October 30th, 2018, Gossett was released from the Minnesota Vikings practice squad and signed by the Arizona Cardinals.
