Colby Gossett is a guard for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. He was born on June 23, 1995, and currently plays for the New York Jets.

He attended Appalachian State University for his college football career. Gossett was recognized as a member of the Sun Belt Conference’s first team both as a junior and as a senior.

During the 2018 National Football League Draft, the Minnesota Vikings selected Gossett in the sixth round (213th overall).

On May 3, 2018, he put his signature on the dotted line for his rookie contract. On September 1, 2018, he was released from the active roster and added to the practice squad the following day.

Gossett was released from the Minnesota Vikings’ practice squad and signed by the Arizona Cardinals on October 30th, 2018.

On December 24, 2019, he was moved up to the active roster from the reserve list. Gossett announced that, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he would be withdrawing his participation in the 2020 season.

On August 31, 2021, the Browns released him, and the Atlanta Falcons picked him up after he was available.
