Daniel “Colt” McCoy, a quarterback with the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League, plays professionally. He is also a tall man, standing 1.85 m and weighing 96 kg. He went to Jim Ned High School where he played football. After graduating from high school, he went to the University of Texas and played football for the Texas Longhorns.

He took a redshirt in 2005 as a true freshman. He led the Texas Longhorns to a 12-0 regular-season record in his final season (2009) and a 13-12 victory over the Nebraska Cornhuskers to win the Big 12 Championship. He was the most successful quarterback in NCAA history with 45 victories in his career.
