Daniel “Colt” McCoy is a quarterback with the National Football League’s Arizona Cardinals. He stands 1.85 m tall and weighs 96 kg. He played football when a student at Jim Ned High School. He attended the University of Texas after high school, where he played collegiate football for the Texas Longhorns. As a true freshman in 2005, he redshirted.

On March 30, 2021, he inked a one-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals. McCoy agreed to a two-year contract deal with the Cardinals in March 2022. He sustained a calf injury and was put on injured reserve on September 7, 2022.
