Offensive tackle Dakoda Shepley plays for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. At 1.96 m tall, he weighs 144 kg. When he was a sophomore in high school, he began playing football. Following his high school graduation, he enrolled at the University of British Columbia, where he played college football for the UBC Thunderbirds.

He sat out the 2013 rookie season. As a sophomore, he played a crucial role in the team’s Vanier Cup triumph. As a senior, he was named an All-Star right tackle for the Canada West. Shepley was an undrafted free agent who was signed by the New York Jets after the 2018 NFL Draft.

Prior to being released by the Jets on August 31, 2018, he attended training camp and participated in three preseason contests with them. The Canadian Football League’s Saskatchewan Roughriders chose him with the fifth overall pick in the 2018 CFL Draft, despite the fact that he had been signed by the New York Jets a week earlier. He joined the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers in August 2020.
