Dane Tyrez Jackson is a cornerback with the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. He was born on November 29, 1996, in Corapolis, Pennsylvania, a city in the United States. Jackson attended Cornell High School, but since Cornell didn’t have a football team, he transferred to Quaker Valley High School. He committed to enrolling at the University of Pittsburgh in June 2014.

While playing college football there, he was a part of the Pittsburgh Panthers, the school’s intercollegiate football team. He was chosen for the second team of the Atlantic Coast Conference during his senior year, and he took part in the 2020 Senior Bowl. In the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills selected Jackson. He and the Bills reached a $3.376 million, four-year contract in May 2020. He was released in September 2020, and then later joined the practice squad.

He was included in the active roster as of October 2020; however, following the game, he was removed and placed back on the practice squad. He joined the practice squad following each game. In advance of the AFC Championship Game against the Kansas City Chiefs and the divisional playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens in January 2021, he was upgraded once more. In January 2021, he and the Bills reached an agreement on a reserves/futures deal.
