Darrian Beavers comes from a family of athletes. His father, Darrell, had a brief career in the National Football League (NFL), where the Philadelphia Eagles selected him in the 12th round of the 1991 NFL Draft.

Beavers started his football career at Colerain High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a utility player, he played as a  wide receiver and safety. 

Beaver went to college after high school and played for two years at the University of Connecticut. During those two seasons, he played in a total of 24 games and started six of them. He finished with 38 tackles and seven sacks.



Beaver transferred to the University of Cincinnati, his hometown college in his senior year and played for the Cincinnati Bearcats from 2019 to 2021.

Beavers started 10 of Cincinnati’s 14 games during his freshman season and finished with 36 tackles. During the 2020 season, he started ten games and finished with 58 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and two interceptions.

After a successful college career, Beaver entered the 2022 NFL and was s drafted by the New York Giants with the 182nd pick in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. The linebacker is currently signed to a 4 year, $3,866,544 contract with the New York Giants.
