David Fletcher is one of the professional baseball players with the Los Angeles Angels baseball team. He serves as an infielder for the Angels. He was born to parents Fernanda Fletcher and Tim Fletcher on May 31, 1994, in Orange, California in the USA.

David played baseball for his high school at Cypress High School in Cypress California. He then enrolled at Loyola Marymount University after high school. He played college baseball at the University for the Loyola Marymount Lions.

In college, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod Baseball League and was named a league All-Star. He graduated in 2015 and was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the 6th round of the 2015 MLB draft.

He made his professional debut that year with the Orem Owlz and Burlington Bees. In the 2016 season, he was made to play for both the Inland Empire 66ers and Arkansas Travelers. He played in the Arizona Fall League before the start of the 2017 season.

During the 2017 minor league season, he spent it with both the Mobile BayBears and Salt Lake Bees. The Angels promoted him to the Major Leagues on June 12 2018 and he made his MLB debut for the Angels the following day. 

David’s contract was extended by the Angels on April 1, 2021. The contract is for 5 years and it is worth $26 million which includes two club options.
