Linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League, Davion Taylor plays football professionally. He is 1.85 m tall and 104 kg in weight. In college, he started playing football as a hobby. He received a 3.6 GPA and the Coahoma Community College Scholar Athlete Award in 2017 while attending Coahoma Community College in 2016 and 2017.

He switched to the University of Colorado Buffaloes in 2018 and participated in football for the Colorado Buffaloes. He made 57 tackles, one sack, and one touchdown during that season while starting 10 of the 12 games. He made 72 tackles and one sack as a senior in 2019, starting all 12 games.

He played in 23 games with 19 starts for the defense during the course of his college career, recording 136 tackles, 20 for a loss, including two sacks, and another 12 for no gain. He has also recovered three fumbles, broken up nine passes, chased down two quarterbacks, applied 13 quarterback pressures, stopped 23 third downs, and applied 13 third down pressures.

He studied psychology as a major at Colorado and is currently pursuing a minor in leadership studies. In the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Taylor was taken by the Philadelphia Eagles with the 103rd overall pick. He started out as the team’s starter in Week 6 of the 2021 season. He was released in August 2022 and subsequently re-signed to the practice squad.
