What Is Deion Jones Salary: How Much Does Deion Jones Make?

According to a report by an insider with the NFL Network, the Cleveland Browns have agreed to a deal with the Atlanta Falcons in order to acquire former Pro Bowl linebacker Deion Jones.

In exchange for Jones and a pick in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft from Cleveland, Atlanta will receive a selection in the sixth round from Cleveland.

Both organizations have since confirmed the exchange to have taken place.

Jones, who was selected to play in the Pro Bowl in 2017, has not yet participated in any games for the Falcons this season because he was placed on injured reserve prior to the start of the season after having shoulder surgery during the offseason.

The Falcons selected Jones in the second round of the 2016 draft. In his first season with the team, he helped lead them to the Super Bowl.

But Jones’ performance has declined over the past few years, as demonstrated by the 34.6 overall ratings that he received from Pro Football Focus in 2021.

According to a report by NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero, Atlanta will be responsible for a dead cap charge of $12.14 million in 2023 due to Jones, who does not have any contract guarantees beyond 2022.

Pelissero also mentioned that the Browns have an obligation to pay Jones a total of $1.39 million for the remainder of the season, in addition to an additional $31,250 for each game in which he participates.
