Deon Bush is a professional football safety who plays for the National Football League’s Kansas City Chiefs. He is 91 kilograms and 1.83 meters tall. He attended Christopher Columbus High School, where he also participated in football. Later, he enrolled at the University of Miami, where he played college football for the Miami Hurricanes.
He participated in 10 games as a true freshman in 2012, starting six of them at safety, and he recorded 34 tackles, including 28 solo stops. He participated in 11 games in 2013, starting three of them, however he missed the opening two games because of an injury. He recorded six tackles, including five solo stops, as a senior. He started 12 of Miami’s 13 games as one of the team’s top defensive players in 2015.
Bush was taken by the Chicago Bears in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He made his NFL debut in om. L. Ll. Pl.. LSeptember 2016, and in his third game, he recorded his first-ever tackle. November 20, the day of his first start in his professional career. For his debut season, he made just six starts in eleven games and finished with 22 tackles and a pass breakup.
In March 2020, he extended his agreement with the Bears. He intercepted his first pass to begin a career in Week 2 of the 2020 season. On November 8, 2020, the group added him to the reserve list and COVID-19 list. He was then called up for duty four days later. Bush agreed to suit up with the Kansas City Chiefs in March 2022.
