In the National Football League, Deon Bush is a safety for the Kansas City Chiefs. At 1.83 m tall, he weighs 91 kg. At Christopher Columbus High School, he participated in football during his high school years. He later enrolled in and participated in football for the Miami Hurricanes at the University of Miami.
He participated in 10 games as a true freshman in 2012, making 34 tackles—28 of them solo—and starting six of them at safety. Despite being injured for the first two games, he started three of his 11 appearances in 2013. He had five unassisted stops in his six tackles as a senior. He started 12 of Miami’s 13 games in 2015, making him one of the team’s top defensive players.
