On July 3, 1993, Devante Bond, a linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League, was born. He was chosen by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He participated in collegiate football at Oklahoma.

Bond was taken 183rd overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. On September 23, 2016, he was placed on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury.

He made his NFL debut on September 24, 2017, in a Week 3 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. He made his first tackle of the season against the New England Patriots on October 5, 2017.

Bond was signed by the Chicago Bears on December 9, 2019. The Bears and Bond re-signed on February 22, 2020. On July 26, he was released. On September 18, he was re-signed to their practice squad.

The next day, for the team’s Week 2 game against the New York Giants, he was added to the active roster; however, following the game, he was returned to the practice squad.

Bond joined the Dallas Cowboys practice squad on December 30, 2021. On January 18, 2022, he agreed to a reserve/future deal with the Cowboys. After sustaining a season-ending knee injury during OTAs, he was placed on injured reserve on July 8, 2022.
