Arizona Cardinals linebacker Devon Kennard plays in the National Football League. In addition, he is a businessman, investor, and philanthropist. He is 1.91 m tall and 116 kg in weight. While a student at Desert Vista High School, he participated in football. Additionally, he took part in the 2009 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

He revealed his choice to register at the University of Southern California at a press conference in January 2009. At the University, he played collegiate football for the USC Trojans football team. He graduated from USC with a bachelor’s in communications and a master’s in communication management with a focus in business management.

Kennard was chosen by the New York Giants in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. In May 2014, he signed a $4-year, $2.36 million contract with the Giants that also has a $144,560 signing bonus. In March 2018, he agreed to a three-year, $17.25 million contract with the Detroit Lions, which included a $5.25 million signing bonus and a $8.50 million guarantee.

In March 2020, he made a three-year commitment to the Arizona Cardinals. Kennard began the 2021 season in third place on the outside linebacker depth chart. He played in 15 games and has 24 tackles (three of which he started). After being released by the Cardinals in August 2022, he was added back to the practice squad. He was promoted to the active roster on September 20, 2022.
