Diego Castillo is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Seattle Mariners. He was a member of the Tampa Bay Rays in Major League Baseball.

Castillo became an international free agent in March 2014 and signed with the Tampa Bay Rays.

On June 6, 2018, Castillo was promoted to the Tampa Bay Rays and made his debut.   He spent the season pitching out of the bullpen and as one of the Rays’ “opening” starters.

Castillo was 4–2 in 11 starts and threw 56+23 innings in 43 games. He had a 3.18 ERA, 65 strikeouts, and 18 walks throughout the course of the season.

Castillo was utilized as a closer and opener in 2019. He was placed on the 10-day injured list with shoulder inflation on June 23.
