Eli Morgan is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Cleveland Guardians of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played college baseball for the Gonzaga Bulldogs.

On the mound, Morgan compiled a 10–2 record with a 2.86 ERA in 14 starts, striking out a conference-leading 138 hitters (second in school history, and third in the NCAA) in 100+23 innings (12.3 strikeouts/9 innings) and was recognized to the All-WCC First Team for the second time in his junior season.

With ten victories, he tied for second most in the WCC, and two shutouts, he also led the conference. His 15-strikeout performance was one of only four in the country.

A three-time National Player of the Week and five-time Rawlings WCC Pitcher of the Week are among the honors he has received from Perfect Game/Rawlings as well as the Collegiate Baseball Second Team All-American.

The Cleveland Indians drafted Morgan in the eighth round of the 2017 MLB draft. The Indians gave him a $135,000 signing bonus when he agreed to join the team.

Class A Short Season New York–Penn League, Mahoning Valley Scrappers, 3–2, 1.03 ERA (3rd-lowest in league), 58 strikeouts in 35 innings, and a 0.94 WHIP were his first professional results. He struck out 14.9% of his opponents and had a 0.94 WHIP.
