On September 28, 1995, Enoli Norverto Paredes, a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball, was born. (MLB). He made his Major League Baseball debut in 2020.

On December 3, 2014, Paredes signed with the Houston Astros as an international free agent. He made his professional debut in 2016, pitching for the GCL Astros, going 1–3 with a 3.74 ERA in 33+23 innings.

He pitched for the Quad Cities River Bandits in eight games in 2017, going 1–3 with a 2.11 ERA in 38 innings thrown. He missed the second half of 2017 due to an elbow injury.
