Carrillo signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers as an international free agent in 2016, and the following year he began his professional career with the Dominican Summer League Dodgers.

In 2016, Carrillo signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers as an international free agent.  During the 2018 season, he was a member of the Arizona League Dodgers and the Great Lakes Loons.
