He initially went to West Port High School before transferring to Trinity Catholic High School, where he eventually received his diploma. He started all 39 of his career’s games while playing college football for the Louisville Cardinals at the University of Louisville from 2015 to 2017.

He announced his intent to enter the 2018 NFL Draft after his junior year in 2017.
