Grant Calcaterra is a tight end who currently plays for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. 

Calcaterra had his high school education at Santa Margarita Catholic High School, which is located in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. During his junior season, he had 48 receptions for 926 yards and nine touchdowns after catching passes.

After completing his junior year, he made the decision to continue his football career at the University of Oklahoma. During his senior season, he had 57 receptions, 958 receiving yards, and eight touchdowns. He will be participating in the Under Armour All-America Game in 2017.



Calcaterra had a productive freshman year at Oklahoma in 2017, appearing in all 14 games for the Sooners and catching ten catches for 162 yards and three scores. During his sophomore season in 2018, he played in 14 games and finished with 26 receptions, 396 yards receiving, and six touchdowns to his credit. Because of his concussion, he was sidelined for the better part of the 2019 season.

Calcaterra revealed that he would be retiring from football at the end of the 2019 season due to the several injuries he sustained while playing the sport throughout the course of his career.

Despite not playing a single game in 2020, he declared in November that he would be making a comeback to the sport and play for Auburn University.

In January 2021, he made the announcement that he would not be attending Auburn University.

In the later part of that month, he made the announcement that he would be attending Southern Methodist University.

He participated in 11 games during the 2021 season and finished with 38 receptions, 465 yards, and four touchdowns receiving passes.
