Greg Van Roten is a professional football player who plays for the Buffalo Bills. He carries out guard tasks. He began playing football when he was 11 years old. He played football for Chaminade High School in Mineola, New York. After graduating from high school, he enrolled in the University of Pennsylvania, where from 2008 to 2012 he played collegiate football for the Penn Quakers squad.
The University’s Wharton School of Business awarded him a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a Marketing Concentration. He also participated actively in the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and the fraternity Delta Tau Delta. The Green Bay Packers hired him after he graduated from the university in July 2012. He participated in a total of 10 games for the Packers. He was released in February 2014. The next month, he signed with the Seattle Seahawks, but in August of that same year, he was let go.
He signed a contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars in February 2017, however the following May, he was let go. In July 2017, the Carolina Panthers acquired him. He left the Panthers in 2020 after agreeing to a three-year deal with the New York Jets in April. In May 2022, the Jets released him. He signed a one-year contract with the Buffalo Bills in June 2022.
