What Is Henry Mondeaux Salary: How Much Dose Henry Mondeaux Make?

Henry Mondeaux

According to an announcement made by the team on Thursday morning, former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Henry Mondeaux has joined the New York Giants practice squad.

Mondeaux was let go by the Steelers on Tuesday at the final cutdowns, which was a result that was entirely foreseeable considering the depth of the Steelers defensive line.

As a member of the Steelers, he participated in 26 games over the course of the previous two seasons, playing a significant number of defensive snaps in 2018 because of the injuries suffered by Tyson Alualu and Stephon Tuitt.

During the 2021 season, he played in almost all of the team’s defensive snaps and finished with 16 tackles, two sacks, and over 250 total defensive snaps. Pittsburgh tried to use Mondeaux as a nose tackle because they didn’t have a viable backup plan for Alualu.

However, Mondeaux was out of place, and his run defense suffered greatly. As a result, the team tried to use Cam Heyward in the middle before finding stability after signing Montravius Adams off the New Orleans Saints practice squad.

Mondeaux also had exceptional value on special teams for a defensive lineman, playing more than 150 snaps with that unit in 2020 and even contributing to the kick coverage unit during his stint with the organization.
