Isaac “Ike” Boettger is an American football guard currently playing for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. Boettger was born on October 5, 1994.
His college football career was spent at Iowa. On May 11, 2018, Boettger became a member of the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent after signing with the team.
On September 1, 2018, he was released from his obligations. The Kansas City Chiefs took Boettger off waivers on September 2, 2018, and signed him to their roster.
On September 11, 2018, he was released from his obligations. The Kansas City Chiefs placed Boettger on waivers on September 12, 2018, and on that day he was claimed by another team.
It was on December 2, 2018, against the Miami Dolphins that he made his debut in the National Football League. On March 17, 2021, the Bills tendered Boettger as a restricted free agent after placing a tender on him.

Because Boettger became ill with COVID-19 and missed most of the first two weeks of training camp in 2021, the start of the camp was postponed.
He began the season as a backup guard, but after Jon Feliciano went down with an injury in Week 8, he was promoted to start at left guard. His promotion came about as a result of the injury. In Week 16, he tore his Achilles, and on December 27, he was placed on injured reserve as a result of his injury.
The Bills re-signed Boettger to a one-year contract on March 28, 2022. The deal was for the same salary as his previous deal.
In order to begin the season on August 23, 2022, he was placed on the reserve/PUP list.
