Professional quarterback for the National Football League’s Philadelphia Eagles is Jalen Hurts. He stands 1.85 meters tall and weighs 101 kg. His father coached football at Channelview High School, where he attended. He rushed for 1,391 yards and 25 touchdowns as a senior while also passing for 2,384 yards and 26 touchdowns.

He attended the University of Alabama after high school and participated in collegiate football for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He competed to start the 2016 season as the starting quarterback as a true freshman. In 2016, he changed schools and joined the University of Oklahoma, where he played football for the Oklahoma Sooners.

He finished the season with the Sooners with 1,298 rushing yards and 20 rushing touchdowns in addition to 3,851 throwing yards, 32 passing touchdowns, and eight interceptions. In the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles picked Hurts with the 53rd overall pick. He was selected to open the regular season in August 2021.

In Week 5 of the 2022 season, he accrued 239 throwing yards, 61 rushing yards, and two rushing touchdowns. He established an 8-0 record, becoming him the only quarterback in Eagles history to do it.
