While playing for Gwinnett County in the all-star game, he had three receptions for 68 yards and two touchdowns.



After graduating from high school, he enrolled at Appalachian State University, where he played six seasons of NCAA football for the Mountaineers while redshirting his true freshman season in 2016. He took part in all 13 games as a redshirt freshman in 2017.
