Wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League, Javon Wims plays in the professional game of football. He is 100 kg in weight and 1.88 m tall. He played high school football at Edward H. White High School, where he attended. He played intercollegiate football in 2015 at Hinds Community College. He caught six catches for 107 yards and two touchdowns in the 2015 season’s first game against Holmes.
That same year, he was named to the first teams for both the All-Region and All-State teams. He was also named the South Division’s Most Outstanding Offensive Player. He committed to playing football at the University of Georgia after signing his national letter of intent on National Signing Day in February 2016.
He enrolled to the University of Georgia in February 2016 to play football for the Georgia Bulldogs there. With 45 receptions for 720 yards and 7 touchdowns in 2017, he finished the year as the Bulldogs’ top receiver. The Chicago Bears selected Wims in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He was let go by the Bears in August 2021. He was added to the Las Vegas Raiders practice squad in September 2021.
His release took place in March 2022. He signed a contract with the Cleveland Browns on April 20, 2022. He lost his job with the Browns in August 2022. He joined the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad on September 15, 2022.
