He played high school football at Edward H. White High School, where he attended. He played intercollegiate football in 2015 at Hinds Community College. He caught six catches for 107 yards and two touchdowns in the 2015 season’s first game against Holmes.

That same year, he was named to the first teams for both the All-Region and All-State teams. He was also named the South Division’s Most Outstanding Offensive Player. He committed to playing football at the University of Georgia after signing his national letter of intent on National Signing Day in February 2016.

He was let go by the Bears in August 2021. He was added to the Las Vegas Raiders practice squad in September 2021.
