Jordan Williams is an American football outside linebacker who is a free agent. He played his senior season of high school football at Gainesville High School in Gainesville, Florida. He played college football at Tennessee for four years.
Between the years 2011 and 2014, Williams was a member of the University of Tennessee’s football team, the Tennessee Volunteers, and played for head coaches Derek Dooley and Butch Jones.
At the University of Tennessee, he focused his studies on arts and sciences. He was awarded the Horne Athletic Scholarship as a result of his athletic accomplishments.
As a defensive end during his freshman season in 2011, he participated in nine games and recorded four tackles as well as one sack.
In 2012, during his sophomore year, he was shifted to the jack linebacker position.
Williams played in ten games, starting in five of them, and finished with a total of two sacks, 17 tackles, and four tackles for a loss. Of the 17 tackles, four were for a loss of yardage.
In April of 2012, he was one of four people to get the John Stucky Award, which is presented to the “player who exhibits the most dedication and work discipline to develop strength as selected by the strength and conditioning staff.” He was one of the four people to receive this award.
