Right out of high school, he committed to Florida State University to play collegiate football and was rated as a four-star prospect.

At Florida State, he participated in football for the Seminoles. After a season at Florida, where he was named the starting left tackle, he transferred to Butler Community College (BCC). He decided against returning to Florida State University and instead transferred to Marshall University in 2019.

He played collegiate football for the Marshall Thundering Herd at Marshall University.
