Joshua John Palacios is an American professional baseball outfielder who currently plays for the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball.



Palacios was born on July 30, 1995. In 2021, he debuted in Major League Baseball (MLB) with the Toronto Blue Jays.

During the 2014 Major League Baseball draft, the Cincinnati Reds picked Palacios in the 31st round of the draft. Instead, he refrained from signing and went on to study at San Jacinto Junior College.



He had a batting average of.364 as a sophomore, with 12 doubles, nine triples, 36 runs batted in, and 29 stolen bases. During the offseason, Palacios committed to attending Auburn University for the 2016 season by signing a letter of intent to play for the Tigers.

After playing in 28 games with the Vancouver Canadians, he moved up to Class-A Lansing Lugnuts and concluded the 2016 season with a batting average of.330 for the team.

In 91 games played in 2017, he had a batting average of.280, with two home runs, 39 RBIs, and 12 stolen bases.
