For the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League, Justin Pugh is a guard who plays professional American football. 1.96 m tall and 141 kg, he has a height. He was selected to the 2008 Pennsylvania Football News All-State Second-Team for defense while a student and football player at Council Rock High School South.

As a junior and senior, he received first-team all-area and all-Suburban One League accolades, and as a defensive lineman in his senior year, he was named to the second team all-area. In 2008, he was honored as the team captain and defensive player of the year. As an offensive tackle in his sophomore year, he was named to the second team all-region.

For the Syracuse Orange football team at Syracuse University, he participated in collegiate football. He made 34 starts throughout the course of his career and was named to the first team of the Big East Conference in each of his final three seasons, beginning as a sophomore. He still had one year of collegiate football eligibility as he entered the 2013 NFL Draft.

Pugh was chosen in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the New York Giants. In 2013, he was selected as the seventh offensive lineman overall and fifth offensive tackle. He committed to the Arizona Cardinals in March 2018 to a five-year, $45 million deal. Pugh started every one of the 16 games in 2019, 14 at left guard and two at right tackle.
