What Is Kevin Smith Salary: How Much Does Kevin Smith Make?

Kevin Smith, an infielder who attended the University of Maryland, was taken by the Toronto Blue Jays in the fourth round of the amateur draft in 2017.

During the latter part of the 2021 season, the Blue Jays were in the thick of a battle for a postseason berth when he made his major league debut with the club.

He played in 18 games at the major league level, hitting.332 with one home run, which was his first career long ball.

After missing the previous season due to the COVID-19 epidemic, he had a successful year in the minor levels that year, hitting .285/.370/.561 in 94 games for the Buffalo Bisons of the Triple-A East. He also had 27 doubles and 21 home runs.

On March 16, 2022, the Toronto Blue Jays included him as one of four promising young players that they sent to the Oakland Athletics in exchange for third baseman Matt Chapman.

Because he was a major league-ready third baseman, he was in an excellent position to claim Chapman’s old job with Oakland.

This is something that would have been very difficult for him to accomplish with the Blue Jays, thus the trade marked a wonderful opportunity for him.

In addition, the Athletics acquired three promising young pitchers on that same day, namely Gunnar Hoglund, Zach Logue, and Kirby Snead.
