Larnel is 1.98 meters tall and 142 kilograms in weight. He started playing football in high school. He attended Saint Clement High School in Medford, Massachusetts. He began playing football professionally in 2021 after being chosen by the Miami Dolphins as the 21st overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Coleman and the Miami Dolphins reached a four-year rookie contract on May 13, 2021. He was placed on injured reserve on August 31, 2021.
