Dominican professional baseball pitcher Luis Angel Medina now competes for the New York Yankees organization. Medina hails from his home country of the Dominican Republic.

On May 3, 1999, he was brought into this world. After agreeing to terms with the New York Yankees as an international free agent in July of 2015, Medina was officially welcomed into the club shortly thereafter.

In 2016, he made his debut in the professional world with the Dominican Summer League Yankees. Prior to that, he had played amateur baseball. During the 2017 season, he pitched for both the Pulaski Yankees and the Dominican Summer League Yankees. He also played for the Yankees in the Dominican Winter League.



During the 2018 season, he played baseball for Pulaski and was on the team. Although Medina started the 2019 baseball season with the Charleston RiverDogs, he was ultimately traded to the Tampa Yankees and is currently playing for them.

As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak that occurred in 2020, the Minor League Baseball season was called off, and as a result, he did not take part in any of the games that year. In June of 2021, the All-Star Futures Game was played, and Medina was one of the players selected to take part in it.
