MacKenzie Evan Gore is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the San Diego Padres. He was born on February 24, 1999. He stands at a height of 6 feet 3 inches. In 2022, he made his MLB debut.
Gore was regarded as one of the most promising prospects in the 2017 Major League Baseball draft. The San Diego Padres selected him with the third overall pick. On June 23, 2017, he signed his rookie contract.
He was 0–1 with a 1.27 ERA and 0.98 WHIP in seven starts for the Arizona League Padres in 2017. In 16 starts with the Fort Wayne TinCaps last season, he was 2–5 with a 4.45 ERA.

He ended the season being ranked the 56th overall best prospect in baseball and the fourth-best left-handed pitching prospect.
