Another one of the Arizona Cardinals’ players has received an extension to their current contract. They extended the contracts of quarterback Kyler Murray, tackle D.J. Humphries, and safety Jalen Thompson after re-signing tight end Zach Ertz, linebacker Dennis Gardeck, and running back James Conner to three-year deals in free agency.

The most recent addition is linebacker Markus Golden, who is also the lone pass rusher with proven experience on the club.

Field Yates of ESPN reports that Golden has agreed to a contract extension that will keep him with the team through 2023 and pay him up to $6.5 million.

Last season, he led the club with 11 sacks, marking the third time in his career that he had at least 10 sacks.
