Marquez Reshard Valdes-Scantling is an American football wide receiver who currently plays for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League.
He was born on October 10, 1994. After spending time playing college football at NC State and South Florida , he was selected in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers.
Lakewood High School was where Valdes-Scantling received his secondary education and participated in football.
In his senior season, he finished with 50 receptions, 800 receiving yards and 14 receiving touchdowns to his credit.  Between the years 2013 and 2014, Valdes-Scantling participated in collegiate football at NC State.
Between 2015 and 2017, he played for South Florida. Because of the restrictions governing transfers, he was forced to miss the 2015 season.
The Green Bay Packers selected Valdes-Scantling in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft to become a member of their team.
On September 9, 2018, he made his first appearance in the National Football League (NFL) against the Chicago Bears.
He concluded his first season with the team having 38 receptions, 581 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns.
On March 24, 2022, Valdes-Scantling signed a contract with the Kansas City Chiefs that was worth a total of $30 million over three years.
During the seventh game of the season, which was played against the San Francisco 49ers, he recorded three receptions for 111 yards, leading to a victory of 44–23.
