A rising talent in the National Football League, Matt Farniok has made a name for himself in recent years.

He was a standout at Nebraska and was given the starting position at right tackle as a sophomore and contributed to the team’s average of 456.2 yards of total offense during that season. He started at right tackle for all 12 games he played in as a junior.

While he was on the offensive line for all eight of the games, he became one of only 13 players in school history to become a two-time captain. He started seven games at right guard and just one game in the center position.

How Good Is Matt Farniok?

The role of Farniok in 2021 was quite limited, but it was by no means insignificant. He took the field in 12 of the Cowboys’ 17 games, playing in each of the first six games of the season.

The majority of the time he was on the field, he was a special teams player, blocking every kick attempt.
