Mike Love plays football for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League as a defensive end. On January 22, 1994, he was born in Tampa, Florida, in the United States. Love was a standout defensive end for the Cougars during his football career at Countryside High School. Florida’s Clearwater is where Love was born and reared.

Love was rated as a possible employee with a three-star rating by numerous recruiting companies. He turned down offers from universities such as Arizona, Indiana, Iowa State, Louisville, Mississippi State, North Carolina State, and West Virginia in order to attend the University of South Florida after finishing high school (USF). He played collegiate football with the South Florida Bulls of the University.

He graduated from USF with a bachelor’s in criminology in 2016 and a master’s in business in 2018. Love signed on with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent on April 28. He made one tackle in his first NFL game, a 14-13 victory over the Detroit Lions on December 16, 2018. In September 2020, he was cut by the Bills, and the following day, he was added to the practice squad. On January 24, 2022, the day after the Bills’ Divisional Round playoff loss to the Patriots, he agreed to a reserve/future contract with the team.
